I was cruising around SlideShare today - just looking for some engaging resources - and I came across this contribution from Robert and Maryam Scoble !
OK - so it's not brand new (10 months old) but it makes some good points and with a couple of hundred students all starting up their edublogs, I think this slide show can add another voice to the "Why?" & "How?" & "What for's?"!

Guess-The-Google Game

Some of the BarCamp guys were playing this game last night - Guess-The-Google - this is a really engaging concept and while I was actively playing along with the group, I couldn't help thinking of all the learning applications that could be embedded in the concept....

UK Students Trivia....

Here's a snippet from the British Airways "Business Life" magazine (September, 2006, p.26):

"80 percent of UK students own a laptop or PC, and 60 percent own an MP3 player, more than a third have stolen a traffic cone or shopping trolley."

OK - now... tell me the relationship between technology, traffic cones, and shopping trolleys???

This has got to be part of my wardrobe!!!

Recently written up in the Australian IT section as a must have have all those portable devices we carry, I googled it and found an interactive version of the cyber-teachers uniform!!!
