MentorNet - Young Female Entrepreneurs
About 8 months ago I was involved in a tender for a mentor program to be funded by AusIndustry (Australian Federal Government) to develop young women entrepreneurs...and to get to the point - we were successful! Yippee!
The program will be delivered entirely through web-based applications, on a national basis and involve up to 200 mentorees! For more details about the program - visit the Australian Businesswomen's Network site.
The educational design is entirely underpinned by social learning theories and enabled by social software. As we start to develop the content and build the platforms I'll be covering our progress...
Currently we are developing partnerships with providers: thanks to Webex for their support with the webinar components of the program, and to Lee from Headshift for their role in the delivery platform.
If you know anyone that may be interested in participating - as a mentoree, or mentor, or in any other way - please contact Fiona De Zotti on 1300 720 120 or email fiona@abn.org.au
Lots more exciting things to be announced shortly about this program - so watch this space!
